We wanted to gather the unique, of high quality and delicious products of our country under onemodern and hygienic roof where you could, not only taste and buy them but learn from your gastronomical experienceas well. Behind this idea is our passion for the unique Anatolian food and Turkish cuisine.
Turkish Gastronomy Museum’s concept was developed in 2016 after one and a half yearsof research and planning. We searched through local restaurant brands, that have been working with Turkish flavors and shops that have been selling delicious, quality products of each region for the past quarter of a century. We gather these brands with an understanding of a museum. Turkish Gastronomy Museum opens its first place with great excitement at Istanbul 42 Maslak.
We would like to be the center of the flavors that make up our traditional cuisine, which includes local homemade food, kebaps, spices, types of cheese, olive oil dishes and pastry. We wanted to call this center a museum because we aim to create an international perception of Turkish gastronomy.
